This tutorial discusses the possibilities of applying the BIM methodology in public procurement / tenders in the construction sector. It also explains the guidelines for the information exchange processes to be achieved in the context of public procurement and their stages.

It can be argued that application of the BIM methodology in public procurement is closely related to the possibilities of digitalizing other stages of the building according to the BIM methodology. The majority of the resources remain the same, as they all relate to the processes that take place during public procurement. Nevertheless, the main analyzed information resource is the EU Central Procurement Information System (CVP IS).
