Aims
This block presents the principles of BIM methodology, related with the quantification of activities and constructive works, and construction planning (fourth dimension of BIM – 4D BIM).
Is used a widely software utilized in 4D BIM tasks, Navisworks, which can detect collisions and perform 4D planning.
According with the resources available, it is possible define the more logical organization and economic planning for the construction works.

To know and be able to apply the principles of BIM methodology related to the quantification of activities and constructive works.
Definition of the resources applies for each activity measured.
Quantification of the price of each activity and calculation of the final budget.
Must be able to identify the most logic and economic planning for construction works.

Capacity to identify the principles of BIM methodology applied to the measurement of construction works.
Capacity to identify the principles applied to the calculating of the construction budget.
Capacity to identify the application of construction techniques to the planning of works using BIM methodology.
To assess the achievement of the practice, each student will draft a report.
