Aims
The objective of this block is to learn how to use some tools to build BIM models of building structures and parametric geometric models of singular structures.
Learning Outcomes
The student can perform and present BIM geometric models of building structures.
Use visual programming computer tools to create parametric models of structures.
Evaluation Criteria
Ability to create structural elements as foundations, columns, beams and structural slabs in a BIM model.
Ability to obtain plans, sectional views and drawings, in accordance with technical drawing rules.
Ability to create a visual presentation by making material and light settings and creating 3D views from the BIM model of the structure.
Capacity to use the elements of visual programming to build a geometric and parametric model of a structure with Rhinoceros and Grasshopper.
Capacity to generate outstanding structures, not built yet, using visual programming.
